I am a procrastinator who can come up with excuse after excuse to why I can’t do something. I did it for most of my life and the answer was it wasn’t that I couldn’t do it I just didn’t want to. This book opened up my eyes because I was able to relate to Mel Robbins so I thought to myself if she can do it so can I. When I first started using the 5 Second Rule it was hard, but I pushed through it. I realized that getting up in the morning to go to a job I absolutely hate was something I didn’t want to do, but the bills needed to get paid so everyday I “5-4-3-2-1” and go.
